Martha Featherston

Martha recollected that in order to hold secret meetings, the Founders had to steal away from roommates who belonged to other clubs.

She was known as demure, dignified and much loved by the student body of Normal College. She was always performing a service to other students and she kept that to herself. She was looked to for advice but she was full of quick wit and humor.  Her greatest enjoyment was found in classes filled with mathematics and geography.
