Sallie Michie

Sallie Michie was the youngest founder and captivated Convention-goers with stories of her life.

Sallie was bright, quiet, and diligent.  She received her full diploma at the age of 16 with the highest averages and with the recognition of being the youngest girl to ever graduated from Normal College.  She then went on to be a teacher for 10 years and during World War I, she worked for the Air Corps in D.C until 1943.

Sallie is known as the "Traveling Founder" due to her consistent traveling and the lack of missing places of interest between each destination.
